Evaluation Question 3


Wrapped up Revenge may seem to start of with a similar beginning as other horror films but what makes it stand out are the effective ideas put together to make it more eye catching and interesting. After the launch of the film, we want our film to receive more positive views that criticisms and to be known as one of the best British horror films to date. When distributing our film, we want it to be shown in the well known cinema's including The Odeon Cinema Leicester Square. By doing this, our film will more likely been noticed and thus, help us get the film across to our target group in no time.

The media institution we would like to distribute our film is hammer Film Preoducations (1934). Hammer Film Productions (HFP) is a preoduction company based in the UK. HFP had low budgets but made their films appear extravagant with the use of phenomenal British actors and cleverly designed sets. Due to it's partnerships with famous US studios, such as Warner Bros, they have managed to dominate the horror film market, enjoying worldwide distribbution and financial success. It works in the genres of science fictions, thrillers, film noir, comedies and television series. It is well known for it's legendary films inlcusing: The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), Dracula films and a series of 'cave girl' themed films. Their films produced have often been praised by critics for their visual style. Therefore, having HFP distribute our film will help catch the eyes of our audience and hopefully, those who are not big fans of the horror genre.

To really get our film out there in the open it will mean that we will need to put our films on to several websites. We could do this by putting it up on Youtube and using sites such as Facebook and Twitter to
